IMPORTANT — Please read carefully. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Soillse. By creating an account or using the platform, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Soillse.
Soillse is a cognitive wellness and training application. We build tools that help people engage with their cognitive performance through structured, evidence-informed exercises, personalised AI coaching, and performance tracking.
Soillse IS:
A cognitive wellness platform. A self-improvement tool. An application that uses validated cognitive science paradigms for training and engagement. An AI coaching system that provides personalised observations based on your performance data. A supplement to a mentally healthy lifestyle.
Soillse IS NOT:
A medical device. A diagnostic tool. A medical treatment, therapy, or clinical intervention. A replacement for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. A licensed healthcare provider. A regulated mental health service. A tool for treating, curing, preventing, or mitigating any disease, disorder, or medical condition.
Soillse has not been evaluated or approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Health Canada, the European Medicines Agency (EMA), or any other regulatory authority as a medical device or treatment. Nothing in the Soillse platform, including Restore mode, Emotional Regulation mode, or any AI coaching output from Sage, constitutes medical advice.
If you have or suspect you may have a medical condition — including but not limited to traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, post-COVID syndrome, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, epilepsy, or any neurological or psychiatric condition — you must consult a qualified healthcare professional before using Soillse.
Soillse's Restore mode and Emotional Regulation mode are designed as cognitive wellness tools for general population use. They draw on paradigms used in published rehabilitation research. This does not make them medical treatments, and their use does not constitute therapy or clinical care.
If you are in crisis, experiencing a mental health emergency, or require immediate medical attention, do not use Soillse. Contact emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.
Soillse AI coaching (Sage) provides observations based on your performance data. Sage is not a licensed psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist, counsellor, or healthcare provider. Sage's observations are not clinical assessments. Do not make medical decisions based on Sage's output.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use Soillse. If you are between 16 and 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent. If you are under 16, you may not use Soillse.

To access most features of Soillse, you must create an account. You agree to:
You may not share your account with others or create accounts for third parties without their knowledge. Each account is for a single individual user.
Soillse offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. The Pro subscription is billed monthly at the then-current price listed on soillse.com. All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.
Free Trial: New Pro subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. No charge is applied during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins at the end of the trial period.
Billing: Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Soillse to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@soillse.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable consumer protection law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under your jurisdiction's law, contact us at support@soillse.com.
Soillse reserves the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance.
You agree not to use Soillse to:
All content on Soillse — including but not limited to the platform design, game content, AI coaching system, training paradigms, science briefs, the Sage AI persona, the Soillse brand, and all associated intellectual property — is owned by or licensed to Soillse and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use Soillse for your personal, non-commercial use subject to these Terms.
Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as check-in notes). By submitting content, you grant Soillse a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, process, and store that content for the purpose of providing and improving the service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOILLSE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. SOILLSE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING:
Cognitive training results vary significantly between individuals. No specific cognitive outcome is guaranteed by use of Soillse.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOILLSE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
In jurisdictions where limitation of liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence is not permitted, the above limitation does not apply to such claims.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of Soillse shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Soillse in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Soillse and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law; or (d) your infringement of any third-party rights.

Informal Resolution: Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at legal@soillse.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Arbitration: Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the ADR Institute of Canada under its applicable rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis and not as a class, collective, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to Soillse at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, Soillse, or third parties, or for any other reason.
Upon termination, your right to access Soillse ceases immediately. You may request an export of your personal data before or within 30 days of termination.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@soillse.com. Termination does not relieve you of any payment obligations incurred before termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by prominent notice within the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Soillse after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not accept the revised Terms, you must stop using Soillse and cancel any paid subscription.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Soillse regarding your use of the platform.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
Language: These Terms are written in English. Any translation is provided for convenience only. In case of conflict, the English version governs.
